SoftOne Group is a successful development company at the forefront of digitalization. We are very positive about, and wish to support, SoftOne in expanding its operations in Colombo.

SoftOne currently has a strong team of full-stack developers and QA staff in Sri Lanka, with plans to gradually expand its capacity. The Sri Lankan team is part of four international development teams, which also include Swedish and Finnish developers. These teams possess high levels of expertise and ambition, working within the framework of agile development based on SCRUM methodology.

We take great pride in our highly skilled development teams who are at the cutting edge of the latest technology. We are also extremely proud of our leading SaaS platform, SoftOne GO, which encompasses all the critical components of a modern business system, delivering simplification and increased competitiveness for our nearly 2,000 customers in Northern Europe.

Håkan Lord, CEO of SoftOne Group, met with the Ambassador at SoftOne’s office on Drottninggatan 33 in Stockholm, along with Rasmus Staberg, Group CTO, and Ishani Herath, full-stack developer. Ishani, who has been working at the Colombo office for two years, is currently based at SoftOne’s Stockholm office for a two-year period while completing her Master’s degree at Stockholm University.

I have been working at SoftOne in Colombo for two years and greatly appreciate my team there and our collaboration within the Swedish development operations. I also value the positive culture within SoftOne Group, where we as developers grow together with the company. I am excited to work in Sweden for two years while completing my Master of Technology at Stockholm University.

As CTO of SoftOne Group, I highly appreciate our collaboration with the Sri Lankan team at our Colombo office. We are steadily increasing our investment in development in line with SoftOne Group’s rapid market expansion. Over time, we invest approximately 35% of our revenue in R&D. Our investments in Sri Lanka are a key part of how we build and develop a scalable, fast-growing development organization.
